Abstract
The ECG is processed for display by user selectable filters to reduce various artifacts. A notch filter attenuates interference from power frequency. Digital signal processing (DSP) is one of the most powerful technologies in the twenty-first-century. Despite of excellence of the DSP,it is relatively difficult for a clinician to understand the DSP. As a try to overcome this difficulty. this paper review how 60 Hz notch filter is developed and applied to an interfered ECG.
