Abstract
Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) mean all diseases of sexual contact ,such as syphilis,trichomoniasis, gonorrhoea,nongonorrhea urethritis,herpes simples typeⅡ, and hepatitis B. Chlamydia infection ,which was increased,was detected by using polymerase chain. reaction. A definite laboratory diagnosis of STD could be established in 36.5% of individuals. The most common STD in females was trichomoniasis,while in males, gonorrhoea was the most common. Antimicrobial resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae is an emerging public health problem as result of the alarming limitation in treatment options. Adherence to recommended antibiotiics at the appropriate dose is critical and monitoring for antimicrobial susceptibility!y needs to be actively maintained to adapt treatment guidelines of STD,appropriately. Aim of the article is understand recent trend of treatment of STD.
