Abstract
Anticonvulsant drugs have been used in the management of pain since the 1960s. The clinical impression is that they are useful for neuropathic pain, especially when the pain is lancinating ar burning. We experienced a case of a 40-year-old male patient complaining of ankle neuropathic pain after repetitive surgical treatment, which was relieved after anticonvulsant medication.
